Sean & Hillary
What was your favorite memory from your Sea Island Wedding?
Something that stands out from our wedding was when Sean and I took pictures after the ceremony on the beach. It was a special time for us to be alone as new the new Mr. and Mrs. The sun was starting to set and it was a perfect opportunity for our photographer to capture this intimate moment. These are some of our favorite pictures from the day!
How did you hear about Sea Island?
My grandmother and grandfather spent their honeymoon at Sea Island in 1946. Fifty years later my grandmother started taking our family to Sea Island during spring break. I fell in love with the area and people immediately and it was my dream to get married there!
If you grew up coming here, what is your favorite past Sea Island memory?
Our family has had so many fond memories of Sea Island. From the fishing and kayak excursions to the spa/beach days, there was never a moment we didn’t have a smile on our faces. But my most favorite past Sea Island memory was spending the day in the sun at the Beach Club and getting dressed up to play BINGO with Billy Bingo after dinner.
What was the inspiration for your décor/theme of your wedding?
I wanted our wedding to have a garden feel with pops of bright spring colors. We used boxwood to accent the already beautiful sea island grounds and bright pinks and oranges within the floral arrangements. It was the perfect combination of southern charm I was looking for. Our family and friends are still talking about how beautiful everything was!

After the wedding was over, were you pleased with the details? How would you describe your experience at Sea Island?
Sean and I could not be more thrilled with every detail about our wedding day. We formed a fast friendship with the Sea Island Wedding Team from the moment we met! No detail or request was overlooked and the execution was spot-on. The Wedding Team went above and beyond to make our wedding day the best day of our lives!
