Plantation

Created by the great British designer Walter Travis in 1928, Plantation was Sea Island’s first nine-hole course. Redesigned in 1998 by Rees Jones, Plantation serves along with Seaside as home to the RSM Classic, a PGA TOUR event hosted by Davis Love III. And now, Davis and his brother, Mark, have redesigned the course, reintroducing some of its historical elements, drawing on its traditional profile, and bringing into play some of the ideas they have had since they were youngsters, when they grew up playing the course with their father.

Seaside

The historic ocean-side links course that combines its beautiful natural setting to make a golf course that is both challenging and fun. The beautifully manicured fairways and greens are bordered by sweeping dunes mixed with native grasses, wildflowers, and bunkers. And the wind creates a different golf experience daily. Sea Island’s most dramatic layout, Seaside is routinely ranked among the top 100 courses in the United States.

Ocean Forest

Ocean Forest Golf Club, situated on the pristine coastal landscape of Sea Island, Georgia, stands as a testament to the harmony of challenging golf and breathtaking natural beauty. Established in 1995 with an original Rees Jones design, the course was recently refreshed by the esteemed Beau Welling Design team enhancing its already formidable challenges and preserving its reputation as a fair test of skill. The Club gained international acclaim when it hosted the prestigious Walker Cup in 2001 and continues to test the talent of the world’s most elite amateur golfers in the annual Jones Cup Invitational.
