About Marianne Eaves
Marianne Eaves is no stranger to being the first. From introducing new concepts in distillation to breaking into a male-dominated industry, Eaves is ushering in a new era in Bourbon. Recognized in Whiskey Advocate Magazine as “the Next Generation” for the Bourbon industry, Eaves has also been honored by Forbes in the 2015 Food & Drink 30 under 30 list and was recognized by Wine Enthusiast Magazine as one of America’s Top 40 Under 40 Tastemakers. Eaves began her distillery career at Brown-Forman, the parent company of brands like Woodford Reserve and Jack Daniels. She eventually moved to a role at the historic Old Taylor Distillery where Eaves made history as Kentucky’s First Female Bourbon Master Distiller since Prohibition.
“In an industry steeped in tradition, change is often resisted, but the sounds, smells, sensations, and sights I experience while traveling across the country spark my creativity and desire to add to these traditions with innovation while respecting the heritage.” – Marianne Eaves
