The formation of The Broadmoor-Sea Island Company was announced in June 2016 with Steve Bartolin, Chairman of The Broadmoor, serving as President of the company. “What makes The Broadmoor and Sea Island so special is that we are both fiercely independent and want to maintain our singular identities for these one-of-a-kind properties,” said Steve Bartolin. “At the same time, the combination of two Five-Star, Five-Diamond resorts – both steeped in history, tradition, service and excellence – offers something truly unique in the luxury resort market and so many synergies. Our goal is to continually strengthen both properties through the sharing of best practices, training and development, as well as joint marketing initiatives and combined sales efforts.
